Phorum Rules

Refrain from using inappropriate language, including language that may look, sound like, stand for, hint at, abbreviate, or insinuate profanity, hate speech (including but not limited to racial, ethnic, or religious slurs), illegal drugs/controlled substances or illegal activities.

You must be at least 18 years old to register for the Service. We do not knowingly collect any information from any users under 18 years of age without parent’s permission and signed COPPA form from user’s parents, and if it is found that an underage user has fraudulently registered, their account will immediately be terminated.

The above rule is applied to ALL incomers

We reserve the right to contact your ISP regarding any inappropriate activities by you on the Secusphere.

Protection of Your Password; Unauthorized Access

Users are solely responsible for protecting their accounts from access by others. You are strongly encouraged to select a hard-to-guess password and not re-use that password on any other sites where it may be read by the owners or administrators of that site. Accessing or attempting to access any user account not belonging to you without permission is prohibited. Accessing another user's account in this manner is grounds for a permanent ban of all accounts from the site.

Registration Requirements

In order to post messages on our message boards, view boards with level restrictions, and use other advanced services, you must register using a valid e-mail address and follow all required registration confirmation procedures. No posting privileges will be granted until the account is fully activated.

Community Rules

The following conduct is not allowed on the Secusphere:

1.   Netiquette
Defamation and insulting other users in this messageboard is forbidden. You will be excluded from the messageboard by the administrators if you don't comply to this rule. Please look at the Internet Netiquette for examples!

2.   Legibility of Posts
Posts should be written in a way, that everyone can understand easily. This is including a legible style - with punctuation marks and so on - and also a comprehensible speech. Codes, unusual abbreviations, dialects and board-foreign languages should be avoided as far as possible.
You should read each of your Posts again carefully, before you make it public, to ensure its legible and understandable quality!

3.   Warez, cracks and illegal downloads
The request, linking, embedding and advertising of illegal material (Warez, Cracks, and other Copyright infringement) is strictly forbidden. You will be excluded from the messageboard by the administrators if you don't comply to this rule.

4.   Rassist and discriminatory posts
Posts which are advocating racism and sedition are forbidden and will result in legal prosecution. The discrimination of racial minorities, religion, gender, philosophy of life, disability, age, sexual preference is strictly forbidden. You will be excluded from the messageboard by the administrators if you don't comply to this rule.

5.   Pornography
The request, linking, embedding and advertising of pornographic Content is strictly forbidden. You will be excluded from the messageboard by the administrators if you don't comply to this rule.

6.   Glorification of violence
Spreading, linking and embedding of advocated violence is not allowed. You will be excluded from the messageboard by the administrators if you don't comply to this rule. Note: The site owner is very sensible to glorification of violence since he lives in Spain, so he´s not very tolerant to this behaviour...

7.   Posting in the correct forum
The Secusphere Community features a number of different forums. Each forum has a perpose and we expect you to post the topics in the right forums. If you happen to place a post in a wrong forum, a moderator or administrator will move the post accordingly.

8.   Searching
This messageboard has an excellent search function. Please use this tool to look for topics that might answer your question, before you start a new thread on your own. The chances are high that a person had a similar question before. The advantages are a) you might get a faster answer and b) this will also avoid that the same questions are asked over and over again.

9.   Avoiding post with similar topics
Please refrain from posting the same topic over and over again. Just use the search function and you might find a thread which already covers your topic.

10.   Avoiding cross- and multi-postings
The creation of multiple thread with the same question/request/comment in one or several forums is a big no-no on our messageboard. Only the quality of the post determines if you get attention or not. Besides, if there is no one who knows an answer to your problem, there is no reason to keep the post on the most important slots.

11.   Avoiding nonsense posts
Nonsense posts are not welcome here. That also applies to so called Smilie-Posts which consist of only a smilie or one-two words. We don't count the amount of posts you gathered, therefore is no need to spam or bump topics back to the top. Those messages are going to be delted by the boardteam without warning or notification!

12.   Forum-Trolls
Trolls won't be happy in our community since we don't condone their existance. This messageboard may not be used as a showstage for self-adulation. Users which are constantly disrupting discussions with flameposts will be dealt with, and may even be exkluded from the community.

13.   Choosing meaningfull captions
Captions, that are supposed to lure the visitor to read the post, and may lead him to a complete different subject are not allowed. The same rule applies to extreme capitalisation (CAPS & SHOUTING) in suject lines.

14.   Avatars
All custom avatars must comply to these specifications:
Your custom avatar may not exceed 100x100 Px (height&width) or 19Kb (filesize). The use of animated avatars is forbidden, since they distract too much from the text, and this is what this messageboard is all about. You may be excluded from the community if you don't follow this rule. Animated Avatars will be deleted without notification!

15.   Signatures incl. picture/banner
All signatures must comply to these specifications:
The whole signature may not exceed 110x640 Px (height&width) as well as 50Kb (filesize). The use of animated signatures is forbidden. Animated Signatures will be deleted without notification!

16.   Pictures in postings
All posts with pictures must comply to these specifications:
A maximum of 5 pictures per post in JPeG, JPG, GIF, PNG format. The pictures may not exceed 800x600 Px (width&height) or 1MB (filesize). If you got bigger pictures please do not embed them into the post, but supply a link to the picture, so that the users may decide for themselves if the download of the picture is needed. As always, please keep in mind that many people don't have access to a broadband internet connection, and keep your files as small as possible.

17.   Account Violations
We're very ambitious to keep everything fair and clean on this forum. To ensure that polls and sweepstakes are completely fair, only ONE account per user is permitted! We will check the database frequently via some software for people with two or more accounts so be warned, don't try it! If you are suspected to have more than one account, you will be contacted by an admin about the possible account violation and you will get the chance to state your case.

18.   Exception to the rule
There may be exceptions to the rules posted above, specially avatars and stuff, that will depend on monthly bandwitch traffic.
